Regarding UHF reader, Ubiik can support the high-level protocol implementation for the reader of your choice. Fundamentally it is reading/writing in the USER memory bank of the RFID ePpaer tag, which any reader can support.
*We have it running in C# on a Denso reader (EinCE 5.0), desktop PC using Favite USB UHF reader, and on ObjectiveC iOS for a dongle. This shows it can be ported anywhere. WinCE 5.0 porting the tiny application-level protocol takes less than one week each time
